On Saturday February 8, 2025, CCCR member and restauranteur extraordinaire, Antonio Varia has invited us to Buona Tavola in Paso Robles for a special Valentines lunch!!

We will meet at Porsche San Luis Obispo at 10:00am, drive through the hills to Paso, arrive at 11:45, and have lunch at noon.

The menu consists of:

Charcuterie platters of alle-pia salumi, imported cheeses and Olives to share

Insalata del Dante

Salad of fresh baby spinach, diced Roma tomatoes, roasted pine nuts , red onions in a imported Gorgonzola cheese dressing

Orecchiette dell’orto

Hat shaped pasta with braised Rapini broccoli, Garlic, sun dried tomatoes, basil with a splash of tomato sauce

Tortelloni di Zucca alla Salvia e mascarpone

Home made tortelloni stuffed with pumpkin and ricotta cheese in a mascarpone sage in a cream sauce

Risotto ai porcini

Arborio rice with imported Porcini mushrooms in a savory chicken broth

Dolce (dessert)

Tiramisu Della Casa

Lady fingers dipped in espresso coffee layered with mascarpone cream cheese

And topped with chocolate crumbles
