A big shoutout and a thank you to Bree Partington for suggesting this restaurant.
Rosati’s specialty is build your own pizzas featuring both Chicago style thick crust and regular thin crust. The thin crust comes in a very thin, New York style crust, or you can order double dough “thin crust” pizza which Sam, the owner, described as COSTCO pizza thick.
Their whole pizzas come in 4 different sizes from 12 to 25 slices or you can order by the slice but only from a choice of three different thin crust styles, cheese, pepperoni or sausage.
FYI: They offer gluten free crust but only on their thin crust pizza. They also offer vegan cheese as an option on all their pizzas.
Additionally they serve up some tasty wings, boneless and bone-in, a variety of pastas and salads, Italian style sandwiches, a chicago style Vienna beef hot dog as well as appetizers and several Italian themed desserts.
As an added bonus, on Tuesdays you can order any of their specialty pastas for $11.95 (Normally $17.95) and a glass of house wine or domestic beer bottles at $4.00 each. Naturally, I will be bringing some of my own personal wine to share with anyone who may be interested.
CAVEAT: While Parking spaces are more than adequate, Rosati’s has two entrances for parking. One on each side of the restaurant. As a caution, if you have a Porsche with low ground clearance I strongly suggest you use the parking lot entrance near Cali Boy’s Deli and MG Liquor stores located on the north side of Rosati’s because the other entrance on the south side is somewhat steeply sloped.
If you have a name tag, I would appreciate your wearing it to this event.
If you are thinking you might want to drink some of my wine, please read below.
1) When you arriive, ask your server to bring you a wine glass
2) If you have a preference for a certain type of wine, besides just red or white, email me at mjarvis46@gmail.com and I will try to bring it or something close if I can.
3) If you do partake, I would appreciate you asking your server to put one corkage charge on your bill. If your +1 also partakes I would appreciate you asking your waitress to put two corkage charges on your bill. I believe the corkage charge is $10 per bottle.
Thank you
