About this event
On July 30, come one come all Porschephiles and Cerevisaphiles and join me for this Last Tuesday Social at The San Diego Brewing Company located at 10450 Friars Rd, San Diego, CA 92120.
Festivities start about 6:00.
The present San Diego Brewing Co, which opened in 1993, hopes to carry on a tradition that was started a long time ago in 1896 when it was the first commercial brewery in San Diego county and was financed by wealthy locals including John D. Spreckels. This historic business quickly became the largest manufacturing enterprise in the county until prohibition forced its closure 1920.
Today’s reincarnated San Diego Brewing Company, along with an assortment of fresh beers brewed on the premises, offers up to fifty taps of beer every day, providing a brew to satisfy everyone.
The large menu, which you can peruse at this link below, is loaded with goodies that match perfectly with great beers and includes such disparate and very tasty items as hamburgers, nachos, fried chicken, fish and chips, pork belly tacos, wings with your choice of over a dozen sauces, a large variety of pizzas, salads, more than seven vegetarian options, a kids menu and more.
