About this event
Pursuant to the GMR Bylaws the GMR is required to hold its Annual Meeting during the month of October. The 2024 Annual Meeting will take place at the Sugarbush Resort in Warren, Vermont on Sunday, October 20, 2024 from 11.00am to 2.00pm. This year's meeting takes on special relevance as we will be conducting elections for GMR officers (President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer). The slate of candidates will be (or has been) supplied to you at least 30 days in advance of the Annual Meeting. Be sure to keep an eye out for this important email around September 19. The deadline to register is Sunday, October 13 at 8.00pm. There is no cost to participate in the driving tour, the luncheon cost is $38 per person. Of course, we hope you will participate in both portions of the event.
Please note that we have added a short driving tour to the day's festivities preceding the meeting and luncheon. The ride, which will be led by GMR member Charlie Delaney, will begin at the Middlesex Park & Ride ( 4 Knapp Road, Middlesex, VT 05602). From Middlesex the tour proceed south on Routes 100B and 100 along the Mad River through Moretown and into Waitsfield where we will cross the Waitsfield covered bridge and take in the westerly views of Sugarbush Resort and the Mad River Valley from East Warren Road.
