About this event

No Excuses VI HPDE

June 5th and 6th, 2021 HPDE at Pueblo Motorsports Park

The Alpine Mountain Region Porsche Club will be hosting a late spring High-Performance Drivers Education (HPDE) event at the Pueblo Motorsports Park. Pueblo Motorsports Park is one of our favorite tracks.  The 2.2 mile 10 turn track has fun elevation changes with a terrific “flow.” And the weather should be beautiful in early June!

As with all HPDE events, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from our dedicated corps of high performance driving instructors, who will give you one-on-one instruction on how to drive your car in a safe, fun and fast manner. We will be offering both Lead-Follow and In-Car instruction for this event. Please indicate on the registration your instruction type preference. Attendance at AMR DEs at PMSP will be limited to a total of 110 drivers per day, including up to 30 Novice and Beginner drivers depending on the number of Instructors registered.  Your priority in being confirmed for an event will depend on the date and time you register. Be sure to register early. Registration closes Monday, May 31. All drivers will be Waitlisted upon registration until the event CDI confirms your driving status and can confirm that an instructor is available if you need one. Whether or not you will be allowed to drive solo vs. require an instructor at this event will be at the sole discretion of the AMR CDI Committee. Lead-Follow Instructors must have attended a Porsche Club Lead-Follow training event before this event occurs. Novices will attend the Ground School held before each of their track sessions on Saturday.

Registration: 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM Saturday and Sunday.  Please register before the Mandatory 8:00 AM drivers' meeting.
